Prank Gifts That Are Real Enough to Work
A prank works on plausibility. The reason this one lands is that it does not look like a joke site — it looks like a records office. There's a plot reference, a section number, a seal, and a signature from Charon.
Send the link with no context
The strongest version is one message containing only the URL. They open it, find their own name on a gravestone with a day counter already running, and have to work out what happened.
What is actually behind the link
Damnation Vacation sells a numbered, permanent plot in one of Dante's nine circles of Hell. You pay $6.66, pick who it's for, name their cardinal sin in twenty characters or fewer, and choose their circle. They get a public gravestone page with their name on it, their plot number, and a counter tracking how many days they've been down there.
Keep it a prank, not a problem
It's aimed at someone who will find it funny within about four seconds. Pointed at someone who won't, it stops being a prank — and because the deed is permanent, that isn't a mistake you can quietly undo.
Common questions
What is a good harmless prank gift?
A $6.66 plot in Hell: it looks official, it names them, and the only thing that happens is a web page exists.
Will they know it came from me?
Not from the page. The grave shows their name, sin, circle and plot reference — not the buyer.
Can I undo it if it doesn't land?
No. All sales are final and a sealed deed cannot be edited, transferred or removed, so pick the target carefully.
