Funny Birthday Gifts

The day counter starting on their birthday is the part that does the work. A year from now the page still exists and the number is 365, which is a better joke than it was on the day.

It gets funnier with time

Most birthday jokes peak at the party. This one has a number that goes up. Sending them the same link next year, with the counter three digits higher, costs nothing and lands again.

What it is

Damnation Vacation sells a numbered, permanent plot in one of Dante's nine circles of Hell. You pay $6.66, pick who it's for, name their cardinal sin in twenty characters or fewer, and choose their circle. They get a public gravestone page with their name on it, their plot number, and a counter tracking how many days they've been down there.

The gift is a link. You send it to them, they open it and find their own grave, and then they send it to whoever they think belongs next to them. That's the whole thing.

For the "don't get me anything" person

They said no gifts. Technically nothing was purchased and nothing arrived — there is simply now a grave with their name on it.

Common questions

What is a funny birthday gift for someone who wants nothing?

A $6.66 plot in Hell. Nothing ships, nothing takes up space, and a counter starts on their birthday.

Can I give it on the day?

Yes. It exists the moment you pay, so it works as a last-minute gift.

Is there a card?

Not a physical one. The grave page itself screenshots and prints well if you want something to hand over.
