Terms of Service
Damnation Vacation is a novelty gift. Buying a plot creates a permanent public web page. It does not create any interest in real property, and it makes no claim about anyone's actual fate.
What you are buying
A single, non-transferable entry in a public directory, priced at $6.66. The entry consists of a name, an optional twenty-character description, an assigned circle, a plot reference and a creation timestamp.
You are not buying land, burial rights, or anything physical. Nothing is shipped.
Sales are final
All sales are final. A sealed deed cannot be edited, transferred, or removed. This is disclosed before payment, on the review screen, and it is a deliberate part of the product.
What you may not submit
You are responsible for the name and description you submit. Do not submit:
- Threats or harassmentAnything intended to intimidate, threaten or target a person.
- Slurs or hate speechContent attacking people on the basis of who they are.
- Sexual content about anyoneEspecially, and without exception, about minors.
- Private informationAddresses, phone numbers, workplaces, or anything else that identifies where a person can be found.
- Impersonation of the siteContent presented as an official statement from Damnation Vacation.
Removal
Entries are permanent by design, but a page can be withdrawn from public view where there is a legitimate reason — a named person requesting removal, or content that breaches the rules above. Withdrawal hides the page; the payment record is retained.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. It is a joke about a fourteenth-century poem and should not be relied on for anything at all.
